Payne Clermont Velasco is pleased to announce that Ms. Monisha Kotwani, our trainee solicitor, was admitted by the High Court as a Solicitor on 07 January 2023.
Prior to joining the firm in September 2020, Monisha graduated from The City University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with Honors in 2019 and Postgraduate Certificate in Laws (PCLL) in 2020 with a Dean’s List Distinction.
At her admission ceremony, Monisha expressed her gratitude to the Honourable Justice Madam Bebe Chu for presiding over her admission hearing and also to our Partner, Jaerey Velasco, as her Principal during her traineeship and for moving her admission.
Monisha added, “There are a lot of people who have supported me in this journey:
- The first and foremost are my parents who have been my pillars of support and been there for me throughout my ups and downs. They have been extremely patient, kind and understanding.
- The second are the partners at Payne Clermont Velasco who have provided constant support and guidance throughout my traineeship.
- Lastly, I would also thank my extended family, mentors, and friends for their unwavering support!”
