Private Financial Adjudication (PFA) is another form of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) designed to offer families an alternative to resolving specific financial disputes outside of the traditional court system. This process provides an opportunity for parties to seek a final determination without going through a trial in the Family Court. Parties can choose to use PFA procedure to settle their dispute with the help of an appointed adjudicator.
