Katherine Guico

Katherine graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Lyceum of the Philippines University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Paralegal Studies in 2014 and furthered her legal studies at the University of London where she obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree in 2020. She then completed her Postgraduate Certificate in Laws (PCLL) at the University of Hong Kong in June 2024 where she got a Distinction in the Matrimonial Practice and Procedure elective.

During her studies in the Philippines, Katherine worked as an intern in the Department of Justice in Ermita, Manila. Prior to joining Payne Velasco, Katherine worked in one of Hong Kong’s leading financial institutions for 8 years, where she acquired invaluable experience in customer due diligence and various Hong Kong Ordinances including the Money Lenders Ordinance and the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing Ordinance.

As a trainee solicitor at Payne Velasco, Katherine provides support in civil and commercial litigation.
